Mission and Vision

The mission of the Educational Resource Center (ERC) is to help University of the Pacific students become independent, self-confident, and efficient learners so that they will successfully meet the academic standards of the University, as well as achieve their own educational and personal goals.

We promote the cognitive and affective growth of all Pacific students, at all levels of the learning continuum, and we are sensitive and responsive to the individual differences and needs among learners. 

The services of the ERC are based on a theoretical foundation in developmental psychology and learning theory and are designed to facilitate the refinement, development and/or acquisition of learning skills, as well as the attitudes and behaviors which result in efficient learning at the postsecondary level.
