Minor in International Studies
The minor in International Studies helps students from other disciplines prepare for globalization in the 21st century by systematically deepening their understanding of the world outside of the U.S.
All minors in international studies start with an introductory course on the world of the 20th century, followed by one of three different international tracks. Students pursuing a major in the School of International Studies are not eligible for an SIS minor.
A student interested in the International Studies minor should consult with the SIS Director of Student Affairs early in his or her academic planning.
In order to earn a minor in international studies, students must complete the required courses with a minimum grade point average of 2.0. At least 10 units of the minor must come from courses taken at Pacific or through an approved study abroad program.
