Minor in Computer Science

The Computer Science minor is designed for students who desire to enhance their skills with a course of study in the development and application of information systems.

Requirements:

22 units as detailed below. The student should develop the program in conjunction with a Computer Science advisor. Any changes, modifications, or substitutions to this program must be approved by the student's Computer Science advisor.

Computer Science Core Courses: (7 units)

• COMP 51, Introduction to Computer Science (3)

• COMP 53, Data Structures (4)

Five Electives approved by minor advisor, from the lower division, advanced or elective courses listed in the major (15 units)

• COMP 37, 63 recommended
