Burr Phillips
Burr Phillips joined the faculty in the fall of 2007. Previously, he was a faculty member at the University of Texas (Arlington), Southern Methodist University, and Northern Arizona University. He holds the M.M. in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from Texas Christian University and the B.M. in
Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas.
Mr. Phillips has performed with the Dallas Symphony, Royal Philharmonic (London), Fort Worth Symphony, Honolulu Symphony, and San Antonio Symphony. He has also appeared with the Santa Fe Opera, Dallas Opera, Fort Worth Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Chautauqua Opera, and Carmel Bach Festival.
At the Conservatory, Mr. Phillips teaches voice.
