Cancellation Opportunities
Your Federal Perkins loan may qualify to be cancelled if you have performed full-time services in one of the following professions:
Teaching at a school with a high concentration of students from low-income families. 
To verify if your school qualifies.
Early Intervention Services provided to infants and toddlers with disabilities
Law Enforcement, District Attorney, Corrections Officer, Juris Advocate General
Nurse or Medical Technician (this includes Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist)
Child or Family Service Agency employee providing services to high-risk children from low-income communities
Head Start staff member
Military service member serving in certain areas
Volunteer Service member such as Peace Corps or ACTION Program
If you qualify you must submit a 
Perkins Request for Cancellation form and mail it to:
