College of the Pacific

Access to Support Services

There are a variety of resources to help new students become acclimated to life at Pacific.

  • Students are informed of important policies in their first semester seminars.
  • The Academic Affairs Office of the College provides friendly and accessible information about the rules and regulations students are expected to follow in the course of completing their degree requirements.
  • Faculty advisers as well as College Deans assist first-year students in finding the help they need by providing information and referrals to support services on campus, such as tutoring, counseling or study skills courses.

“Orientation was the most useful and fun experience to begin my journey here at Pacific. I made many new friends and learned about all the organizations and opportunities Pacific has to offer to me.”
Stephen Lee

Student Records Coordinator: Your Support Link

Eighmee Ferrill, the College's Student Records Coordinator, is responsible for maintaining the academic files of all students in the College of the Pacific. But new students soon find that her role goes well beyond these administrative duties. She is involved in new student orientation and soon knows every student by name. She works closely with Assistant Dean Cynthia Dobbs when academic issues arise for a student, and she refers students to resource services as needed.
