College of the Pacific

Degree Program

Students interested in mathematics primarily as a component of a liberal education or as a second major may elect the Bachelor of Arts degree.  This major is also a good choice for students who want to graduate early or need to take a significant amount of coursework for another interest (e.g. preparation for law or medical school). Students earning a B.A. at the University of the Pacific must complete one year of college instruction or equivalent training in a language other than English (Transfer students with sophomore standing are exempt from this requirement).
