Conservatory of Music

Pacific Clarinet Festival

The Conservatory of Music will present the 2nd Pacific Clarinet Festival on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 11am-7pm.  Clinics and master classes will include topics  such as Orchestral Excerpt Audition Preparation, Alexander and Feldenkrais Techniques, Improvisation, Mouthpieces, and Chamber Music.  Thanks to the generous support of Gottschalk Music Center of Modesto, participants will be able to try and buy the latest in Buffet-Crampon clarinets.  Clark Fobes will be here with his line of mouthpieces and barrels, along with many other great products. The Festival is open to clarinetists of all ages, music educators, and the general public.  Pre-registration for the festival (postmarked no later than Sept 25) is $15.  Registration Day fee (Oct 4) is $20.
