Pacific Crew began in 1982 under the strong leadership of Coach Tom Kinberg and one very dedicated Pacific athlete, Matt Holmes.  Although Matt has gone on to a highly successful personal and professional life, we are honored to continue to have Associate head Coach Tom Kinberg with us as we continue the quest to be recognized as a premier collegiate  rowing program in the West Coast.

Over the years, crew has had a very positive impact on hundreds of Pacific  student athletes who wanted to share the serenity, dedication,  and commitment  at dawn to train with the best.  Our Alumni are strong supporters of our current mission at Pacific to grow the program and to expand opportunities to enhance the rowing  experience for those who will become the new Pacific Crew of the future.

Current Alumni projects include fundraising efforts to increase the quality of our equipment and to help us find an off campus site to build a boathouse.
