DeMarcus Brown Theatre

The regents of the University of the Pacific approved the naming of this Studio Theatre as the "DeMarcus Brown Studio Theatre" on January 13, 1984. It was named in recognition of the significant contribution made to the training of generations of drama students through hundreds of outstanding dramatic performances directed by De Marcus Brown, who served with distinction as Director of the Pacific Theatre from 1924-1968.

The intimate and flexible 150 seat DeMarcus Brown Theatre inspires community involvement and individuals form diverse backgrounds.
