Graduate Studies
The Psychology Department offers a program of graduate study leading to the M.A. degree in Psychology. We offer two tracks:
- Applied Behavior Analysis track (MA or doctoral preparation)
- Clinical/Counseling Doctoral Preparation track.
Students wishing to pursue a doctorate in applied behavior analysis should apply under the applied behavior analysis track, but indicate in a cover letter that they ultimately wish to apply to a doctorate program in ABA.

Note that coursework and practica involvement overlaps substantially for both tracks, while some requirements and experiences remain separated.
- Extensive experience with behavioral and assessment techniques.
- Wide variety of applied experience in a number of different settings.
- Intensive involvement in designing, conducting, and evaluating research.
- Coursework in theoretical and research foundations of applied behavior analysis and cognitive behavior theory.
- Commitment to the development of student potential by active, supportive, involved faculty.
