- 2:00 p.m. – Shakuhachi presentation by Master Kurahashi – Recital Hall
- 5:00 p.m. – Japanese Dinner – Grace Covell

Sally DeLorenzo - 7:30 p.m. – Concert of Traditional Japanese music featuring the shakuhachi master Yoshio Kurahashi, koto player Yoko Hirano-Itatani and the sangen player Ayako Kurahashi – Faye Spanos Concert Hall.
General admission $8, seniors $4, free to students with ID
Thursday, October 25th
- 12:00 p.m. – Lecture by Diane Borden “Kurosawa and World Cinema” – WPC-140
- 5:30 p.m. – Presentation by gallerist Ren Brown in association with the Contemporary Japanese Prints Exhibition. Free public reception featuring Japanese cuisine. – Reynolds Gallery
- 8:00 p.m. – Movie, “Throne of Blood” by Akira Kurosawa – Pacific Theater
General admission $5, faculty, staff $3, free to students with ID.
Free admission for the first forty people to arrive.
Friday, October 26th
- 2:00 p.m. – Presentations: by visiting composers – Recital Hall
“Music as a reflection of the composer’s cosmology” by Joji Yuasa
“music and new media” by Kiyoshi Furukawa - 3:30 p.m. & 5:30p.m. – Tea Ceremony hosted by the Tea Master Mrs. Aiko Mikami - William Knox Holt Memorial Library, Community Room.
