Conservatory of Music

Diane Borden is Professor of Literature and Film Studies, Chair of the English Department, and Director of Film Studies Program at University of the Pacific. She is also a Board member of the Executive Committee for the Association of Departments of English.

Her recent Scholarships include a 15 month program on new Asian Cinema for a consortium of psychoanalytic institutes in San Francisco. Moreover, she presented a paper on "The Post Modern Turn in new Asian Film," in Singapore. Finally, she is presently working on a manuscript called, "Staging the Mirror: Psychobiography and Woody Allen." to be published in the upcoming ADE Bulletin entitled, "Desire and the Job Search."
