Eberhardt School Named One of the Best Business Schools in the Nation

(October 12, 2007) -

(Stockton, Calif.) –University of the Pacific’s Eberhardt School of Business was named one of the best business schools in the nation by Princeton Review’s annual law and business school guide, released Tuesday. The rankings were based upon comments made by students.

“While we have always felt that our small class sizes, personalized attention, real world learning, and traditionally high job placement rate made us one of the best business schools in the United States, it is reassuring to hear our students make the same claims,” said Dean Chuck Williams, of the EberhardtSchool. “With our $1 million student-run investment fund, newly redesigned 18-month MBA, in-house Career Management Center, academic partnership with the Wall Street Journal, and the wide number of opportunities that our students have to study abroad, we are constantly striving to improve our students’ experience and hope that our efforts continue to be reflected by our students’ success and positive feedback.  We truly believe that our students can start here and go anywhere.”

The Princeton Review compiled this year’s list based on its surveys of 18,000 students attending the 170 law schools and 19,000 students attending the 290 business schools listed in this year’s guide, and on school-reported data. The surveys were conducted during the 2006-07, 2005-06 and 2004-05 academic years.  The 80-question survey asked students about their school's academics, student body and campus life, themselves, and their career plans. More information can be found at www.PrincetonReview.com. The schools are not listed in any hierarchical order.

The Princeton Review is a New York City-based education services company known for its test-prep courses, education programs, admission services, and 200 books published by Random House.  Among them are "Best 366 Colleges,"  "Best 168 Medical Schools" and guides for graduate school admission exams and application essays.  The Princeton Review is not affiliated with PrincetonUniversity.
