Geoffrey Lin-Cereghino (B.S., University of California, Davis, 1989; Ph.D., University of California, San Diego, 1995), Associate Professor.
I met my wife Joan, the best discovery I ever made, in graduate school in the Department of Biology at the University of California, San Diego.
After I received my Ph. D in 1995, Joan and I spent one year as visiting faculty at Haverford College and then four years as postdoctoral fellows at the Oregon Health Sciences University before accepting a joint appointment at Pacific in 2000.
We usually teach separate courses but share a research lab comprising of both Masters and undergraduate students.
We enjoy being with our children, Ted and Grace, and our hobbies include cooking, gardening and rooting for the Boston Red Sox and the San Francisco Giants.
Dr. Geoff Lin-Cereghino teaches: Principles of Biology, Microbiology, and Gene Expression.
