Brubeck Archive
The Brubeck Archive, one of the world's largest and most comprehensive collections from a contemporary musician, consists of Dave and Iola Brubeck's correspondence, legal and business documents, musical recordings, music manuscripts, photographs, printed programs, memorabilia, and other important archival material. The Archive is a resource of immeasurable value for scholars interested in research concerning Brubeck's music, other musicians, and social issues such as civil rights, international relations, environmental concerns and social justice.
The Brubeck Archive is housed in the Holt-Atherton Special Collections at the University of the Pacific Library in Stockton, California. It is a major resource for planning, developing, and presenting the Institute's activities and events. Our goal is to make the Archive widely available for research and educational activities through traveling exhibits, online access, and on-site exploration. You may contact the Library Archivist
Mike Wurtz at 209.946.3105 for further information.
