Making an Appointment
How do I make an appointment?Appointments can be made by phone 209.946.2315 ext. 2 or in person. Counseling Services is located in the Cowell Wellness Center (corner of Brookside and Manchester.)
Who is elgible for Counseling Services?
Students from the Stockton and Sacramento campuses who have paid the health services fee are elgible for services. Students registered for 9 units or more are charged a $120 health services fee for each semester and $40 each summer session. This fee covers Counseling and Health Services at the Cowell Wellness Center. If a student is registered for less than 9 units they may elect to pay the health fee in order to receive services.
Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment?
Please bring your PacifiCard and insurance card with you. You will need to arrive at least 25 minutes early to complete the intake paperwork. If you would prefer, you can schedule an appointment to complete the paperwork in advance.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
To cancel your appointment please call 24 hours in advance. To leave a message after hours, press option 2. If you fail to cancel an appointment, you will be charged a no-show fee. The no-show fee is $25 for appointments with a psychotherapist and $50 for appointments with the psychiatrist.
