Rose Parker Lecture, Discussion, and Book Signing Today

Dr. Rose Parker will read from her award-winning autobiography, "Beat Up, Beat Down, and Still Standing," on Friday, February 29 at 2 pm in the Bechtel Center. Parker made history in 2000 when she was released from a life sentence by former California Governor Gray Davis. She served 15 years in prison for killing her abusive boyfriend. Dr. Parker heads "Saving Our Women," an international domestic violence prevention organization.
