Summer Reading Development Programs for Children and Adults
Programs in Sacramento, Lodi, and on Campus
In these programs, your child will develop the essential reading skills and habits that lead to fluent reading, strong comprehension, and a love of books and reading. You will receive individualized guidance and materials to confidently support your child's reading practice and skill development over the next year.
Reading Development Programs for Entering 3rd Through 5th Graders
In these programs, your child will develop the reading comprehension and fluency required to read longer, more complex books with ease and absorption. This ability is the foundation for a lifelong love of reading and for academic success. You will receive individualized guidance and the materials you need to confidently support your child's reading practice and skill development throughout the next year.
Reading and Study Skills Programs for Middle School and High School Students
Students in these programs double reading speed, improve comprehension, and learn a step-by-step approach to reading, studying, and taking notes in fiction and non-fiction. They also develop the ability to become fully absorbed in books, which makes reading enjoyable and supports the habit of reading for pleasure.
Speed Reading and Comprehension Training Program for Adults, College Students, and Entering High School Students
In this class, you will learn to take control of your reading tasks and your time. You will read two to four times faster in any material you tackle, understand and retain what you read better, and take more organized, useful notes.
