Teaching Approach

The courses I teach, especially criminology, are about real events that affect people on this campus and in this community.

Students can affect these events, now.

I provide opportunities for students to become active in the community.

All academic subjects involve a core of knowledge, a basic literature, and typical methods for developing knowledge.

Students have to be pretty strong in all three of these "basics" in any subject I teach.
