Ethnic Studies
The Ethnic Studies Program is an interdisciplinary program, incorporating course offered in various schools and departments, providing students with multiple models of critical theories and methodologies for examining the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, culture, and class in the historical formations of the United States.

Gender Studies
For over a decade the Gender Studies Program has been a thriving interdisciplinary consortium of faculty, staff, and students committed to both a curricular and cultural environment supportive of the study of gender.

International Programs and
Services
University of the Pacific's International Programs and Services located in the Bechtel International Center has two units, International Services and Education Abroad.
International Services
The International Services unit of IPS serves international students, scholars and temporary international employees at Pacific. International Services provides them with:
- A basic understanding of Immigration and Naturalization Services rules and regulations.
- The skills to successfully adapt to the culture and academic system of the United States.
Education Abroad
The Education Abroad unit of IPS oversees the education abroad programs available to degree-seeking University students, which includes the following:
- Offering learning experiences beyond the classroom for all students at Pacific.
- Assuring that education abroad courses, in consultation with the IPS Faculty Advisory Committee, meet the same academic standards as courses on the Stockton campus.
- Selecting education abroad participants.
- Ensuring that each participant of a Pacific-approved education abroad program completes an extensive, eight-week course in Cross-Cultural Training prior to going abroad.
University of the Pacific has a rich array of international students and scholars with more than 300 students and staff representing more than 70 different countries.

Multicultural Affairs
Multicultural Affairs promotes cultural diversity and awareness by offering programs, services and activities that encourage cooperative relations among diverse groups. It provides leadership opportunities for all students through Multicultural Leadership Retreats, the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, Celebrate Diversity calendar of events, the International Spring Festival as well as a multitude of other events and programs. The University's multicultural programs include the PRIDE Resource Center, the Women's Center and the ALANA Center in addition to advising the United Cultural Council.
United Cultural Council (UCC) is a governing body for all campus cultural student organizations and the Multicultural Greek Council. UCC promotes cultural diversity through direct interaction with students and by hosting or sponsoring campus community programs. The following are examples of campus organizations:

Religious and Spiritual Life
College life is all about exploration: intellectually in the classroom as well as a time to explore spiritual things. Religious and Spiritual Life at Pacific supports the historic and emerging faith traditions of all Pacificans, to insure that incoming students can find a community of faith in which to participate and alternative faiths from which to learn; that all students have the opportunity to practice openness, tolerance and acceptance of the diversity of faith on this campus and in this world; and to encourage all students to take these truths with them when they leave Pacific.

Success
The University of the Pacific hosts a Student Support Services project, known as SUCCESS on Pacific's campus. As a U.S. Department of Education TRiO program, SUCCESS works with 200 eligible students on the Pacific campus each year to assist them with staying in school, graduating and transitioning to graduate and/or professional school.
