College of the Pacific

Meet Our Students

Capstone students

Here’s what some of our students say about their experience in the College of the Pacific. Also, see below to view a student-created video about the College.

“Professors are always willing to give you help and guidance once you knock on their doors. I found that my professors were accommodating and cooperative. Professors are full of life experience and they are always enthusiastic to share their insight with students.”

Stephen Lee, Modern Language & Literature

“The faculty advising and orientation was really helpful for my transition into college and my expectations for what college was supposed to be like.”

Emily Chiu, Biological Sciences

“Being stuck in a classroom with 60 other students, with the teacher not really knowing who I am, is why I didn’t go to a UC school. In an English class at Pacific there are 10 to 20 people, and when I’m finished with a class my teacher knows me and would be able to write an appropriate recommendation. The professors also care about you, and will push you to do your best work.”

Misha Maggi, English/Film Studies

“We get lots of great speakers on campus, from Bill Clinton to Gavin Newsom.”

Shaun Callahan, Political Science

“The best part about my first year here was choosing to live in Grace Covell residence hall. I met so many of my friends there, and they've really made my college experience.”

Cheryl Zurbrick, Chemistry
