Master of Science in Engineering Science

The goal of graduate education at Pacific is threefold:

1. To excite and discipline the intellectual capacities of its students,
2. To record and publish the products of intellectual inquiry,
3. And to advance knowledge.

The MSES is designed to strengthen students' technical, analytical, and professional breadth and depth. All students receiving an MSES degree will complete a set of core courses that covers the broader subjects of research and analysis.

Concentrations being offered include:

• Civil Engineering (with paths in Environmental, Management and Structural)
• Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (beginning Fall 2010, subject to final approval)
• Mechanical Engineering (beginning Fall 2010, subject to final approval)

The program is geared for three types of students:

• Full-time students who have completed the B.S.
• Part-time students who have completed the B.S. and are currently employed as practicing engineers
• Blended program students enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering or CS degree program at Pacific
