David Chase

David Chase is currently serving as the Assistant Dean and as Instructor of Music Management at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, where he earned Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts in Music degrees.

David has an extensive background in music and has been active in performance and research as well as in broadcast and artist management. He has interest in a wide range of musical styles, and has performed in symphony orchestras, small and large jazz ensembles, and in solo recital. David served as the Jazz Music Director for KUOP, the University's NPR affiliate public radio station. Following graduate coursework, David was the tour manager for the Sherri Jackson Band on the 1997 Furthur Festival, a major North American concert tour which featured former members of the Grateful Dead, Arlo Guthrie, Jorma Kaukonen, The Black Crowes, moe., and Bruce Hornsby.
