Program 2/20/09

“American Icons” features “Niagara Falls” by Michael Daugherty and “Spoon River” by Percy Aldridge Grainger along with EE Bagley’s seminal march, “National Emblem”.  The heart of the program is a performance of “Lincoln Portrait” by Aaron Copland featuring Gary Putnam as narrator to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth .
