Now in its sixth year, the Pacific Western Concert Band Festival provides a showcase for topnotch high school bands from all across the Western United States. The Festival’s unique format (each band receives performance critiques and clinics from internationally recognized adjudicators) and altruistic format (the Festival is non-competitive and includes a wide variety of opportunities for ensemble and individual musical growth) have made it, as one recent adjudicator proclaimed, “a role model for the best in music education”. The day concludes with a 6pm concert by the Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
