From my brief experience, these are the kinds of people walking the halls of the Benerd School of Education and I am very happy to be the newest member of this caring and passionate Tiger family.

In June of 2008, I was offered the position of Lead Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. I will be handling all the inquiries and referrals pertaining to the Curriculum and Instruction Department's Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral programs. In addition to my normal day to day administrative tasks, I will be creating student databases for tracking purposes, inputting the scheduling for my department, supervising the work study group and assisting on special projects.

I was born and raised in Cupertino, California, but recently moved to Lodi. I graduated with a Double major in Behavioral Science/Anthropology and a minor in Environmental Science. I love scuba diving. I am also lifeguard and a volunteer swim instructor. So far, my passport has stamps from Italy, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Canada, and Israel. Before coming here, I worked for Pacific Gas and Electric for 6 years.

I remember college being a whirlwind of confusing red tape and forms so I am looking forward to helping in any way that I can.
