Taylor Skinner attends International Youth Leadership Conference in Prague

Taylor Skinner, a junior in the School of International Studies was selected to attend the 17th International Youth Leadership Conference, January 4-9th in Prague, Czech Republic. The conference is a week-long youth forum on world politics, international relations, media and law.
120 students from 40 different countries are participating in an open-minded exchange of different perspectives on global issues, with a strong emphasis on cross-cultural and international youth empowerment.
The International Youth Leadership Conference proactively involves its participants in
- Simulation of the United Nations Security Council Emergency Meeting
- International Criminal Court Mock Pre-Trial
- Model European Parliament Proceedings
- Visits to foreign embassies, Senate of the Czech Republic, European Commission, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, PricewaterhouseCoopers
- Group debates and panel discussions on international security, environmental sustainability, rule of law, responsible leadership and mass media
- Meetings and banquet dinners with leading experts, diplomats, politicians and businessmen
While in Prague, Taylor visited the John Lennon Wall in Grand Priory Square.
