Acclaimed Gospel Singer Marvin Sapp, and Deon Kipping, to highlight this year's Gospel Fest

Tickets are now on sale for University of the Pacific's annual Gospel Fest in celebration of Black History Month.  The concert will feature one of the biggest names in gospel music today, singer Marvin Sapp.

Sapp is best known for his mega hit "Never Would Have Made It," which became the longest running No. 1 gospel single in Billboard's history. Opening for Sapp will be Deon Kipping, a rising star in the gospel industry known for his Christian/Neo Soul style.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20 at Progressive Community Church, at 2820 South "B" Street. Tickets are $25 each.  The concert will be held for the first time off campus, taking place at one of the largest African American churches in the Stockton area.
