Dr. Stacie Turks
Stacie Turks, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY20572)
Director, Counseling Services

Dr. Turks received a Masters of Arts with Distinction in Counseling from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Schaumburg, IL.

During her career at Pacific she has served as a Staff Psychologist, Associate Director of Clinical Services, and is now the Director of Counseling Services. In addition, Dr. Turks is an adjunct professor in the Benerd School of education, teaching Counseling Theories and Cultural Basis of Bias in Education.

Dr. Turks provides individual therapy, faculty and staff consultations, conducts outreach presentations, and supervises pre-doctoral psychology interns. Her professional interests include multicultural issues, mood disorders (depression and anxiety), and assertiveness training. Her theoretical perspective is eclectic; based on humanistic, systemic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches.

Dr. Charlene Patterson
Charlene D. Patterson, Ph.D.

Associate/Training Director, Counseling Services

Dr. Patterson received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

Presently, she serves as Associate Director and Training Director of Counseling Services. 

Dr. Patterson’s professional interests include training and professional development, multicultural issues, interpersonal relationship skill enhancement, mood disorders and developmental issues.

Her theoretical perspective is integrative and eclectic and includes psychodynamic, family systems, interpersonal process, and cognitive-behavioral approaches.

Liz Thompson
Liz Thompson, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Liz Thompson received her Masters of Arts with highest honors in Counseling from Western Seminary in Los Gatos, CA. She is currently licensed with the State of California’s Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage Family Therapist.

Liz has been a staff therapist at Pacific for 10 years. She is also an adjunct faculty member at National University, teaching courses in the Marriage Family Therapy program.

Liz provides individual, couples and group therapy, faculty & staff consultations and conducts and coordinates outreach presentations for Counseling Services. She also supervises the pre-doctoral psychology interns in the area of campus outreach. Her areas of special training include the assessment and treatment of Eating Disorders. Liz has special interests and training in the areas of family and/or relationship difficulties, grief/loss, identity/attachment development, ACOA issues and the integration of spiritual/ faith background with psychology.

Liz is also certified in the administration and interpretation of the Meyers Briggs Temperament Indicator and has a great interest in young adult personality development.

Kristina Dulcey-Wang
Kristina Dulcey-Wang, Ph.D.
Staff Psychologist

Kristina Dulcey-Wang received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, California. She also has specialized training in Addiction Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Kristina currently serves as a staff psychologist at Counseling Services. Her professional interests include developmental issues of college students, attachment formation, relationship enhancement, and multicultural issues. Kristina is also the contact person for requesting Safe Zone presentations across the Pacific Campus. This outreach program aims to increase awareness of LGBT issues, promoting a campus climate of inclusion and value for diversity.

Kristina's theoretical perspective is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, attachment, and humanistic frameworks.

Dr. Corey Brink
Corey Brink, M.D.
Consulting Psychiatrist (G079-196)

Dr. Brink is on staff 3 hours per week.  He provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for students and professional consultation to staff.

Lindsay Richards
Lindsay Sutton, B.A.
Office Coordinator

Lindsay received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, Sacramento.

Before coming to Pacific, Lindsay spent six years working for California State University, Sacramento, both as a student and as a full time staff member.

She joined Pacific in 2006 as an administrative assistant for Counseling Services.  She currently serves as the Office Coordinator.  Lindsay is the first point of contact for students calling and coming into Counseling Services.  In addition to managing the counselor's daily schedules, she performs project managment coordination.  Upcoming projects include APA accreditation.
