Cal Grants

Cal Grants provide up to $9,708 per school year for tuition and fees. These need-based grants are for low-income and middle-income students who are California residents and attend California colleges and universities.

Pacific will match Cal Grants with University funds!

We'll match your Cal Grant A or B with University funds, provided that you qualify financially for the additional award and that the Cal Grant and University funds combined do not exceed your actual tuition charges.

Cal Grants may only be used at California colleges and universities.

If you are awarded a Cal Grant, you will receive a California Aid Report (CAR) which will show the value of your Cal Grant at Pacific.

Reminder: (Due March 2nd, 2009)
In order to be considered for these awards at Pacific, you must file an application for undergraduate admission and the  FAFSA. To apply for a Cal Grant, you must also  submit a verified Cal Grant GPA to the  California Student Aid Commission.

High school students, be sure and check with your high school and determine if:

  1. Cal Grant GPAs are being sent to the California Student Aid Commission for all seniors at your high school,
  2. you have to ask your high school to send your individual Cal Grant GPA, or
  3. you have to fill out the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form and send it in yourself.

Complete Cal Grant details can be found on the Cal Grant website (http://www.calgrants.org)
