Students
The Tutorial Center offers FREE tutorial services for frequently requested courses to current Pacific students. Undergraduate and graduate students may request tutoring for courses in which they are enrolled. Open hour and Scheduled Tutoring start the second week of class. Some scheduled sessions may start the third week due to tutorial staff availability and scheduling.
To request a tutor in a course the Tutorial Center currently does not have, please complete the Tutor Request Form and submit it to the Tutorial Center. Please note, we will do our best to find a tutor for you in the subject you have requested, though we cannot guarantee that one will be found.

To schedule appointment, please stop by the Tutorial Office in person to avoid a high percentage of no shows and cancellation when phone-in appointments are scheduled.

- Instruction to TutorTrac in InsidePacific for tutee.
All students are responsible for reading and signing the Terms of Tutoring before attending their first tutoring appointment. Failure to read and sign the Terms of Tutoring may result in a delay in scheduling an appointment.

If you are interested in being a tutor for the Tutorial Center, please complete the Tutor Application below and submit the application to the Tutorial Center. Completion of hiring process usually takes a week or two due to the interview process and background check. Therefore, in order for the hiring process goes faster, please submit your application at the earliest time of the semester.

Faculty/Staff
To refer a student enrolled in your current course(s) whom you feel would be qualified to be a tutor, please complete the Referral Form.
We are interested in students who possess effective communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Specific qualifications for this position include sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student status. The student needs to demonstrate subject matter competency by earning a final course grade of B+ or higher. Please note that tutors will be selected on the basis of their potential to be an effective tutor as well as be sensitive and patient with regard to the unique needs of students seeking academic assistance. Finally, the ability to work well with students from diverse backgrounds will be an important consideration.
