Adobe Acrobat Vulnerability

(March 11, 2009) -

Security experts have discovered a vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat products. This vulnerability can be triggered by accessing infected PDF files. Adobe will be releasing an update to Adobe Reader and Acrobat products this week.

After testing of the patch has been completed an additional enews with instructions for updating your Adobe Products will be posted. Until then, OIT recommends that the Pacific community only open PDF files that come from a trusted source, and then only if necessary.

Any questions or concerns may be directed to the Customer Support Center at 209.946.7400 or your local Technical Support Provider.
