Summer 2009 M.O.V.E. Program Update

August 21 - 22, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Mountains, Ocean, Valley, Experience (M.O.V.E.) is a unique first year program designed to welcome new students to the Pacific Community by introducing them to the concept of responsible leadership through participation in a series of service projects in critical locations throughout Stockton and the Northern California Region. The program began in 2007 with 100 new students participating at Yosemite and expanded to over 200 students in 2008 by adding sites at both the Marin Headlands and within the Greater Stockton Community. Thanks to a generous donation from the Pacific Fund, plans are now in place to expand M.O.V.E. to new locations in 2009 in order to include the entire freshmen class!
