Access to the John Muir Papers
The John Muir Papers is a collection of the writings, correspondence, journals, drawings and other documents produced by John Muir. The Center is committed to promoting the use of the John Muir Papers by faculty and students at Pacific as well as researchers from around the world.
We work with the staff of the library's Holt-Atherton Special Collections on projects that promote wider dissemination of Muir's manuscripts and publications.
The John Muir Papers website includes detailed inventories of the collection's contents, links to Muir-related collections at Pacific, and digitized images of Muir, his drawings, journals and correspondence.
