Exchange Students

Eligibility

To be eligible for the exchange program, students must meet the following requirements:

1. Must be officially enrolled in one of Pacific's partner institutions. The partner institution must have an existing exchange agreement with University of the Pacific and must nominate students for the exchange program. Please click here to see a list of current partner institutions.

2. Must have completed at least one year of education at their home institution by the first day of classes for the semester(s) to which they are applying.

3. For non-native English speakers, must show proof of proficiency in English language such as TOEFL, IELTS, or other certificates.

 

Course Information

You will find information about courses offered at Pacific, such as course descriptions, in the general catalog. Schedule details for classes offered in a particular semester can be found in PDF format on the schedule of classes page.

Please do not attempt to register for courses at this time. This information is provided solely to help you plan which courses you would like to take at Pacific. You will not be able to register for courses until Orientation.

 

Application Procedures

Please make sure your application is complete and legible. For application procedures and deadlines, click here.

Once your application has been submitted to International Programs and Services (IPS) by your home institution's exchange coordinator, IPS will process your application and send you an official welcome/acceptance packet with information regarding room and board, Orienation, and other important next steps.
