Emergency Exercise Planned for Wednesday, June 17, 2009

(June 16, 2009) -

On Wednesday, members of Pacific's Alert Team, Pacific's Department of Public Safety and the Stockton Police Department will hold joint emergency exercises at the Theta Chi Fraternity house on north campus. The exercises will start at about 9 a.m. and will last for most of the day. During this simulation, there will be police cars and SWAT vehicles on campus. There also may be blank rounds fired during the exercise.

The exercises are being held to simulate a real-world emergency to test both the campuses and Stockton PD's response, as well as to identify any issues or problems that need to be worked out in case of a real emergency. In case of questions, contact public safety at 209.946.2537.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation in this important exercise.
