Pacific Feminists Club

Pacific Feminists is a group that is dedicated to discussing issues and raising questions about women's place in society—both in America and elsewhere around the globe.

Pacific Feminists is committed to the belief that women should be treated equally in fields of work, sexual identity and the fulfillment of their personal goals. They seek to subvert the idea that women should be treated any differently than men, or that gender should be used as a means for different treatment in general.

The club participates in many events and actions to raise awareness and get their messages out. Pacific Feminist meetings are a place of learning, self-love and empowerment, and the group welcomes with open arms both women and men who are interested in exploring such topics or participating in Pacific Feminist events.

Student-made film: "This Is What a Feminist Looks Like: Pacific."

Women's Center

The Women's Resource Center at Pacific is located inside the Multicultural Center on the ground level of the McCaffrey Center. The purpose of the center is to promote awareness of women's and gender issues and celebrate and cultivate women's leadership on campus and beyond. The Women's Center is used for meetings and events, and serves as a resource for gender equality and campus violence prevention.

Student-made film: "Open for Business" (about the reopening of the Women's Center in spring 2009.)
