Veterans Services
The University of the Pacific encourages veterans to apply for admission and is approved under Federal and State laws for the training of veterans.
If you are a veteran or veterans' dependant and plan to enroll under one of the federal or state plans of educational benefits, you can help speed processing of your benefit claims and Admission Application by:
• Contacting the Veteran Student Services Coordinator, Alexis Graham.
• If you are a first-time veteran applicant to Pacific, you will need to provide a certified copy of the DD-214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty).
• If you are a first-time veteran fill out this on-line application. You should receive an award letter that needs to be delivered to Alexis Graham, Office of the Registrar.
• Dependants must provide the Veteran Student Services Coordinator with the VA claim number and Social Security number of the veteran spouse or parent.
• If your the Vet and have used your VA Educational Benefits at another institution and wish to use your remaining benefits at Pacific you will need to fill out a 22-1995 form. If you're a Veteran dependent you will fill out the 22-5495 form. Both forms are available through the Veteran Student Services Coordinator or at the VA website.
• If you have never received VA Educational Benefits you will need to fill out a 22-1990 application. This form is available through the Veteran Student Services Coordinator or at the VA website.
