Pacific Receives Recognition in Two Prestigious College Guides
University of the Pacific wasn’t named just once, but twice as a top university in the United States by prestigious college guides.
In June, the publishers of the Fiske Guide announced Pacific as one of the 44 “best buy” college educations in United States, Canada, and Great Britain in their “2010 Fiske Guide to Colleges”. All the universities and colleges were compared “based on the quality of academic offerings in relation to the cost of attendance.”
In July, Pacific was named as one of the nation’s “Best 371 Colleges” in the Princeton Review 2010 edition. Pacific was among the 15% of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges featured in the publication.
