This is a Master Calendar of Events for the 2009-2010 academic year. This document is meant to be used for planning purposes so others on campus can plan for upcoming events or figure out the best time to schedule their own event. Events on this calendar may be rescheduled or canceled, so please check this calendar often while making decisions about other events.

The featured speaker will be Michael Mulvihill, Supervisor of the Family Crimes Unit of San Joaquin County District Attorneys Office. There will be two or three other speakers who will be attending as well (social worker, attorney, and possibly a police officer).

Oct. 31: AARP health fair - For this event the School of Pharmacy collaborates with the other health sciences schools and AARP to put on an event expecting over 150 people. Among the services offered are brown bagging, fall prevention and bone density screening, blood glucose screenings, blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, smoking cessation, presentations on safe medication use and Medicare Part D, as well as education about women's health issues and heartburn.
