Italian Festival Event: Symposium on Italian Culture in the Inter-war Period coming Saturday
Pacific's Festival of Italian Music and Culture presents "The Symposium on Italian Culture in the Inter-war period." It will cover a wide range of subject areas, including the complex interactions between aesthetics and politics, as well as the relation between science and the "art" of war. Pacific's talented faculty will be exchanging ideas during this forum, including senior faculty Professor Ken Albala (History) and Dean of the Conservatory Guilio Ongaro, as well as our newest faculty members Assistant Professors John Lessard (Film) and Jimmy Juge (Physics). The symposium moderator is Assistant Professor Dari Sylvester (Political Science), who will field questions from the audience.
The event will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 23 in the Recital Hall. It is free and open to the public.
