





Symposium "Keep It Consensual: Campus Conversations About Sex Alcohol and Choice" Today beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Experts on sexual assault will join students, staff and community members at the Don and Karen DeRosa
University Center Ballroom from Noon to 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 for an in-depth discussion on definitions of consent and sexual assault, how alcohol and drugs affect consent, intoxication and victimization, and bystander empowerment and responsibilities.
Nationally recognized campus safety expert Brett Sokolow, Pacific law professor Ruth Jones and Joelle Gomez, executive director of the Women's Center of San Joaquin County, are among the many guest speakers and panelists. These events are also part of the University's participation in the nationwide "Enough is Enough" campaign.
The event is free and open to the public. Sessions may be attended without registration separately or in their entirety.
