University Center Construction Parking and Road Changes
Construction of the new University Center began in early 2007, with completion slated for the spring of 2008. Existing parking and traffic flow on parts of the campus will be affected at various times during construction.
Street Changes
The road along the levee connecting the east and west parts of the central campus is permanently closed. Chapel Lane from the Morris Chapel to Hand Hall, and Atchley Lane in front of Hand Hall are now two-way streets. Parking was eliminated on one side of both streets to accommodate two-way traffic.
