Pacific Speech and Debate Team Takes First Overall in the Golden Gate Invitational

(November 4, 2009) -

On October 31, 2009 Pacific Speech and Debate traveled to Berkely, to compete in The Golden Gate Invitational. Over 20 schools were in attendance and Pacific Students did amazingly well! This tournament was a "swing" tournament and combined 2 tournaments in one weekend. Over three days of competition, Pacific finished first overall in school sweepstakes. Next Pacific will host Paul Winters, another swing tournament, and one of the biggest in the country.
