Pacific Field Hockey: Muhl Named to NFHCA All-Region Team

(November 19, 2009) - Senior Lisa Muhl (Harleysville, Pa.) closed out her impressive career as a Pacific field hockey defender by earning a place on the Longstreth National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I West All-Region Second Team. She was one of two NorPac Conference players to make the second team.

The 2009 NorPac West Defensive Player of the Year finished her career as Pacifics all-time career leader in defensive saves with 20. She started every game of the 2009 season and leads the nation in the stat after setting a personal single season record with nine.

Muhl, who was also named to the second team All-Conference, ended the season tied for third on the team in goals (4) with a .750 shot-on-goal percentage.
