Announcements & Upcoming Events
Staff Career Development Expo - November 17-18, 2009
Mark your calendars for an event designed specifically for Pacific staff! The 2nd Annual Staff Career Development Expo on November 17-18, 2009 held in the DeRosa University Center.
President Pamela Eibeck will deliver the opening keynote message; she'll share her career path, work/life balance challenges and her vision for Pacific staff.
There will be a variety of sessions on topics such as starting a career development dialogue, discovering your strengths and speed networking; attend a panel discussion about developing your career at Pacific; or take a Myers Briggs assessment.
This year we're pleased to announce that we've been able to retain the services of Kathleen Sexton of Kairos Learning. Kathleen has over 15 years of experience in the area of career development for staff at higher education institutions. She developed the very successful development program for staff at Stanford called COMPASS. Kathleen will be facilitating the sessions on Starting a Career Development Dialogue and Discovering Your Strengths & Speed Networking.
All sessions are free and open to all staff. Please RSVP using the Staff Training Online Registration system located in InsidePacific. This will provide us with an approximate number of attendees. For more information, Event Flyer.
Registration is required for the Myers Briggs assessment session as it has limited seating. The registration deadline for this session is October 30, 2009.
