Graduate Staff
Residence Directors (RDs) are graduate students here at Pacific who work part-time in the residence halls, apartments or Greek houses. Apartment and residence hall RDs are also responsible for supervising Resident Assistants in his/her communities, hall councils or front desk staff that may be associated with the building or cluster.
Pacific has 15 RDs, six of whom are living in each of the University-owned Greek Houses. The other nine are spread throughout the residence hall and apartment communities. The RDs report directly to one of the four Area Coordinators.
Most of the RDs are students in Pacific’s Master of Arts in Educational Administration program, so the work they do as RDs is closely linked with their program of study. Many of our RDs plan to work in residential life or related college administration areas as professional staff members upon completion of their Master’s program.
