Changing Rooms and Roommates

Room change requests will begin to be processed 10 working days after the start of each semester, referred to as Room Freeze, as space permits. Residents may not change rooms/apartments without the written permission from the Housing & Greek Life Office and until after this Room Freeze unless approved by the Housing & Greek Life Office.

Residents who wish to change rooms/apartments must complete a Room/Facility Change Request. Requests will be processed based upon the date the form was received by the Housing & Greek Life Office and space permitting. Residents will receive periodic email notifications of the status of their request in writing, including instructions for room/building changes.

Roommate changes are considered on an individual basis after the students have made a serious effort to explore alternative ways of resolving their differences. If approved, the move must be completed.
