Conservatory of Music
Admissions, Financial Aid, and Scholarships
To be admitted to Conservatory of Music undergraduate programs, you must also be admitted to the University of the Pacific.

Fall 2008 University admission dates:
November 15, 2007 Early Action Application Priority Filing Date. |

January 15, 2008 Freshmen Regular Application Priority Filing Date (also Early Action Notification Date). |
February 15, 2008 Financial Aid Priority Filing Date (all majors). |
March 15, 2008 Regular Application Notification Date, Financial Aid Notification for Freshmen begins. |
Conservatory applicants must also complete the following:
- Audition Request Form (submit online).
- Classical Performance Audition on your primary instrument.
- Jazz Performance Audition (Jazz Studies degree program applicants only. Jazz applicants must also complete the Classical Performance Audition).
- musicianship assessment.
Auditions and assessments are held at the Conservatory of Music on the Stockton, CA campus. Live auditions are preferred, however, high quality recordings* will be accepted in circumstances where it is impossible for the applicant to audition live.

The following degree program requires two musical scores representative of the applicant's work:

The following degree programs require an interview with faculty from the department:
- Music History
- Music Education
- Music Therapy
- Music Management
- Bachelor of Arts
Financial Aid and Scholarships
As a small private school, the University of the Pacific strives to be both accessible and affordable. We offer University Financial Aid as well as Conservatory Merit Scholarships for music majors and minors.
